HAPPY CHRISTMAS

I would like to wish all of my readers a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

2025 has been a very tough year. Losing my brother to Motor Neurone Disease was extremely hard, and my mental health suffered quite a bit. But I am pleased to say I am now well on the road to recovery. I look to 2026 as being a fresh start in life – fully retired from my old job and being able to concentrate properly on my writing.

This autumn I finally published Death upon the Lonesome Wild, the 6th Gertrude Harrington Mystery. I am hopefully in a position to publish at least one new book every year. Next year should see the publication of Death on the Tracks, the 7th Gertrude Harrington Mystery. I am also three chapters away from completing the first draft of the next prequel, The Village of the Damned, which is currently looking to be the longest Gertrude Harrington book.

After that, I have plans for a new trilogy of books featuring a character called Mary Winterbrook. I am still fleshing out this trio of books, and will keep you posted.

For now though, I hope you all enjoy the festive season, and let us see what 2026 brings.
